Sizesnap Lab measures a garment laid flat using AR, keeps the numbers in your closet, and lets you compare them against whatever you are about to buy. Here are the common questions.

How to measure

From the home screen choose Tops, Bottoms or Other, lay the garment on a flat surface and continue to the camera. Move the device slowly until the surface is detected, then tap the two ends you want to measure. Swipe up or down at the bottom to switch the part being measured (shoulder width, body length, chest and so on). When you have the parts you need, tap Save Session to see the result.

If it will not measure well

Smooth the garment out — wrinkles and folds make the ends ambiguous.
Use a well-lit surface with some texture — a plain white table can be hard for AR to lock onto.
Move the device slowly — tapping before the surface is detected puts the points in the wrong place.
Contrast the garment against the background — a white garment on a white floor is hard to read.

How accurate is it?

Because this is an AR measurement, conditions affect the result, and the result screen shows an accuracy figure per part. The app is designed for comparing garments measured the same way — errors then tend to point in the same direction, which makes the comparison more reliable than any single absolute number.

How comparison works

First measure a garment that already fits you well and save it to the closet. Then measure the garment you are considering, using the same parts and the same steps, and the difference is shown per part in centimeters. How a garment actually feels also depends on fabric and personal preference, so treat the difference as one input among several.

The three free slots are reusable: deleting a saved garment frees a slot, so you can keep swapping within three garments on the free tier.

Is Pro a one-time purchase?

Yes. Sizesnap Lab Pro is bought once — there is no monthly or yearly charge. Family Sharing is supported.

What happens when I change devices?

The purchase carries over on the same Apple Account: tap Restore Purchase on the Pro screen. Garments saved to the closet are stored only on the device, so those do not transfer with the purchase.

Deleting your data

Garments can be deleted individually from the closet. Deleting the app removes all of the data it stored on the device.

I denied camera access by mistake

Re-enable it in iOS Settings → Sizesnap Lab → Camera. Measuring is not possible without the camera.
