SafeLook — Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SafeLook ("the app") handles information.

1. Information we collect

The app does not collect any information. No account is required, and the app contains no analytics or advertising. We never receive any information about you.

2. On-device processing

Files you add (HTML, PDF, images, video, audio and text) are stored only on your device, in the app's Documents folder, and are displayed entirely on the device. The following are also kept only on your device:

Favorites, the last file you opened, and where you stopped reading
Settings such as text size
Data that scripts in your pages store (for example, localStorage)

All of it is removed when you delete the app.

3. Device permissions

The app does not ask for access to the camera, microphone, photo library, location or contacts. It only receives files that you choose through the Files app, the Share menu, AirDrop and similar.

4. Network

The app does not connect to the internet. If a page tries to load images, scripts or data from the web, the request is blocked. Tapping a link in a page, PDF or video does not open any website. The app does not send video to other devices with AirPlay.

5. Children's privacy

The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

6. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the update on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
