Meeting someone in a crowd gets hard once you are already close. Meettap solves only that last few dozen meters.
Send a meet-up link, and an arrow points toward the other person along with the distance. As you get closer the arrow becomes precise, and when you are face to face you have met.
All you share is a single-use meet-up link. No phone number, no messaging account. The link stops working once you meet, once either side ends it, or after three hours.
Location is always shared both ways. There is no mode where only one side can see the other. Sharing happens only while the app is open, and there is no background tracking.
When the meet-up ends the session disappears. No history is kept on your device or on our server, and there is no account to create.
