Block'n'Roll — Privacy Policy

This policy explains how information is handled in Block'n'Roll (the app).

1. What is collected

The app collects and stores no personally identifying information. There is no account to create, and no advertising SDK is included.

To improve the app, we collect anonymous aggregate counts: app launches; starting and solving a course or Skill Trial; opening the Workshop; and showing, buying, or restoring Pro. Each report contains only a fixed event name and the app version. We do not collect device or advertising identifiers, IP addresses, accounts, course layouts, shared codes, scores, times, location, or free-form text. These counts are not linked to you, are not used for tracking, and are not shared with third parties.

The following is kept on your device only:

Which courses you have finished, and their records — time taken, number of tries, pieces used
Courses you were given, and the codes of courses opened recently
Settings (sound, haptics)

2. Processing on the device

Building courses, rolling the ball and keeping records all happen on your device. Generated courses rebuild identically from a short code. A hand-built Workshop course can be shared with its own code; no course data is uploaded to or stored on our servers.

3. Permissions

The app requires no permissions at all — no camera, microphone, location, photos or contacts.

4. Network

The app does not use the network except in these cases:

Anonymous usage counts — only the fixed events above are sent to an aggregate service operated by the developer. No information that identifies a person or device is sent.
Game Center — if you use the leaderboards, the app communicates with Apple's Game Center (section 5).
In-app purchase — buying or restoring communicates with Apple's App Store (section 6).

Giving a course away means sharing its code. How you share it — mail, messages — is your device's own feature and does not pass through any server of ours.

5. Game Center

Leaderboards use Apple's Game Center. If you are signed in, your league total — the number of pieces used across the set — is submitted to Game Center and shown on the board with your display name. This is Apple's service and Apple's privacy policy applies. If you are not signed in, nothing is submitted and your records stay on the device.

6. In-app purchase (Block'n'Roll Pro)

Block'n'Roll Pro is a one-time purchase that opens the Pro League, the Workshop, and unlimited drills. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit, under Apple's privacy policy. No payment details reach the developer — only the fact that a purchase exists.

7. Children's privacy

The app is rated 4+. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

8. Changes

Any change to this policy will be published on this page with the date it was last updated.
