Sparkline — Terms of Use

Effective: July 16, 2026

1. What the app does

Sparkline identifies supported physical NFC cards, QR codes, and barcodes on device, and provides entertainment readings and card management. It does not obtain card balances, history, identity data, or key data, and it does not clone, write, pay, authenticate, or unlock.

2. Your responsibilities

Read only cards and codes you own or have clear permission from the owner to read. A Bump requires that both people consent on their own device. Follow the rules of issuers, employers, schools, hotels, and transit operators.

3. Prohibited use

Unauthorized reading or tracking, reading unsupported cards, payment, authentication, unlocking, cloning, impersonation, any use contrary to law or third-party rights, and circumventing safety features are prohibited. Do not enter room numbers, PINs, card numbers, names, or unlock codes into card names or notes. Check the content and recipient of a shared image before sharing.

4. Nature of the readings

Readings, titles, stories, and missions are entertainment. They do not measure or guarantee people, relationships, card performance, or future events, and must not be relied upon for important decisions. A bundled on-device fallback is used when Apple Foundation Models is unavailable.

5. Changes and liability

The operator may change or discontinue the app for safety, legal, OS/device compatibility, or improvement reasons. Liability is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law; liability that cannot be excluded, such as for intent or gross negligence, is not excluded.

6. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Except where applicable law provides otherwise, the Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.

7. Contact

Please use the contact method listed on the App Store product page.
