Frequently asked questions

Can I play without a physical card?

Yes. Tap "Try the Starter Deck" on the first screen to add three sample cards. The Starter Deck works everywhere a real card does: Today's Card, Collection, and two-iPhone Bump.

What can Sparkline read?

NFC — only the UID/IDm of supported FeliCa or MIFARE cards, used for on-device identification.
QR codes and barcodes — the image and the decoded value are not saved; only an identifier derived with a device-only key is stored.

Credit and debit cards, identity documents, My Number cards, driver's licenses, passports, and ISO 7816 cards are unsupported.

Bump will not connect

Allow Bluetooth and Local Network on both iPhones, and check that both screens show the same three-symbol connection mark. If a thick case absorbs the motion, use the manual Bump button on screen.

Deleting your data

Cards can be deleted individually from Collection. The in-app Privacy & Legal screen deletes cards, travel sets, Bump history, solo history, and notifications together. Deleting the app removes its data as well.

How real are the readings?

They are fictional entertainment. They do not measure or guarantee people, relationships, card performance, or future events.
