Wordsline ("the App") respects your privacy.
Wordsline（以下「本アプリ」）は、ユーザーのプライバシーを尊重します。
What changed: To improve the App, it now sends anonymous usage counts (see section 2) — totals such as how many times the app is opened or a word is saved. Because the App holds no identifier of any kind, it cannot identify a user, follow an individual over time, or build a profile. No saved word, sentence, or scanned text is included.
変更点: アプリ改善のため、匿名の利用回数（第2節参照）の送信を追加しました。送るのは「起動された合計回数」「単語が保存された合計回数」といった合計値のみです。本アプリはいかなる識別子も保持しないため、利用者を特定すること・同一人物を時系列で追うこと・プロファイルを作ることは構造上できません。保存した単語・例文・スキャンした文章は一切含まれません。
The App has no account system and collects no personal information. All vocabulary data is stored locally on your device. The only thing sent to a developer server is the anonymous usage statistics described in section 2.
本アプリにアカウント機能はなく、個人情報を収集しません。すべての単語データはデバイス上にローカル保存されます。開発者サーバーに送られるのは、第2節に記載する匿名の利用統計だけです。
To make the App better, it sends anonymous usage counts to a server operated by the developer (collect.appline.app, on Cloudflare). What is counted, all as totals (aggregates) only: how many times the app is opened, a word is saved, a review session is completed, an OCR scan succeeds, the stats screen is opened, and the purchase screen is shown, purchased, or restored.
What is sent (only this): a fixed, predefined event name plus the app version number. Nothing else.
What is never sent: no name, email, account information, device identifier (IDFA / IDFV), advertising ID, or location — and never the words you save, the example sentences, the pages you looked them up on, or any scanned text.
No individual can be identified or tracked: the App assigns no persistent identifier to a device or user (no device ID, no session ID). All that is stored is "how many times, in total, something happened" — there is no key to join these counts on, which makes it structurally impossible to identify a learner, follow the same person over time, or build a profile.
Where it goes: only to the developer's own server. It is never shared with any third party such as Google, Firebase, or Meta. Your IP address is not logged, stored, or used.
アプリ改善のため、開発者が運用するサーバー（Cloudflare 上の collect.appline.app）に匿名の利用回数を送信します。数えているのは、アプリの起動回数、単語が保存された回数、復習セッションを終えた回数、OCRスキャンが成功した回数、統計画面を開いた回数、購入画面の表示・購入・復元の回数で、いずれも合計値のみです。
送信するもの（これだけ）: あらかじめ決められた固定のイベント名と、アプリのバージョン番号のみです。
送信しないもの: 氏名・メールアドレス・アカウント情報・端末識別子（IDFA / IDFV）・広告ID・位置情報は送信しません。保存した単語・例文・その単語を調べたページ・スキャンした文章も一切送信しません。
個人の識別・追跡はできません: 本アプリは端末やユーザーに永続的な識別子を一切割り当てません（端末ID・セッションIDなし）。保存されるのは「何回起きたかの合計」だけで、それらを結び付ける鍵が存在しないため、特定の学習者を識別すること・同一人物を追跡すること・プロファイルを作ることは構造上不可能です。
送信先: 開発者自身のサーバーのみです。Google・Firebase・Meta などの第三者に渡すことはありません。IPアドレスは記録・保存・利用しません。
The App includes a Safari Web Extension that reads selected text on web pages to look up word definitions. The selected word is sent to external dictionary and translation APIs (see Section 5). No browsing history or page content other than the selected text is collected.
本アプリにはSafari Web拡張機能が含まれ、Webページ上で選択されたテキストから単語の定義を検索します。選択された単語は外部の辞書・翻訳API（セクション5参照）に送信されます。閲覧履歴や選択テキスト以外のページ内容は収集しません。
The App requests camera access to scan printed English text using OCR (Optical Character Recognition). Images are processed on-device and are not uploaded to any server.
本アプリはOCR（光学文字認識）で印刷された英文を読み取るためにカメラにアクセスします。画像はデバイス上で処理され、サーバーにアップロードされません。
The App uses the following third-party APIs to provide dictionary and translation features:
Only the looked-up word or short text is sent to these services. No personal identifiers are included in the requests. These third-party services may have their own privacy policies; please refer to their respective websites for details.

On supported iOS versions (iOS 18 and later), the App may use Apple's on-device Translation framework to translate words and definitions into Japanese. This processing occurs entirely on your device and no data is sent to any server.
対応する iOS バージョン（iOS 18 以降）では、単語や定義を日本語に翻訳するために Apple のオンデバイス翻訳フレームワークを使用する場合があります。この処理はすべてデバイス上で行われ、サーバーにデータは送信されません。
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. The developer does not collect or store credit card information.
アプリ内課金は Apple の App Store を通じて処理されます。開発者はクレジットカード情報を取得・保存しません。
All data is stored locally on your device. To delete all app data, simply uninstall the App from your device. For any data-related requests, please contact us via the App’s App Store page.
すべてのデータはデバイス上にローカル保存されています。アプリのデータをすべて削除するには、デバイスからアプリをアンインストールしてください。データに関するご要望は、App Store のアプリページ経由でご連絡ください。
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. It collects no personal data from anyone; the anonymous usage statistics in section 2 are identifier-free totals that cannot identify any person. The App is suitable for all ages.
本アプリは13歳未満のお子様の個人情報を故意に収集することはありません。どなたについても個人データを収集せず、第2節の匿名の利用統計は識別子を持たない合計値でいかなる個人も特定できません。全年齢に適しています。
