This policy explains how Tracking Lab ("the app") handles information.
The app does not collect or store personally identifiable information. No account is required, and the app contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. The only data that leaves your device is the anonymous usage statistics described in Section 2 — counts that cannot be linked to any person.
The following data is stored only on your device:
To improve the app, we send anonymous action counts to a server operated by the developer (collect.appline.app, on Cloudflare). What is counted: how many times the app was opened, how many pitches were thrown, aggregate screen-transition pairs from a fixed vocabulary, and Pro paywall / purchase events — totals only.
What is sent (and nothing else): a predefined fixed event or screen name, plus the app version number.
What is never sent: names, email addresses, device identifiers (IDFA / IDFV), advertising IDs, location, your pitch designs, your pitch records, or any other personally identifiable information.
No identification or tracking is possible: the app assigns no persistent identifier to your device or to you. Only aggregate totals are sent, with nothing to join them together, so identifying a person, following one person over time, or building a profile is structurally impossible.
Destination: only the developer's own server. Nothing is shared with Google, Firebase, Meta or any other third party. Your IP address is not recorded, stored or used, and is never linked to the anonymous counts.
Pitch physics simulation, metric calculation, record keeping and result graphs all run on your device. No data is sent to the developer's server for these purposes.
The app requests no device permissions — no camera, microphone, location or photo library access.
You can optionally use Apple's Game Center to post your Struck Out score to the global leaderboard. Signing in is optional; every feature of the app works without it (the ranking then shows only your personal best). Game Center is governed by Apple's privacy policy; the app receives only the score and public nickname needed to display the ranking.
The app offers a one-time purchase, "Lab Pro", which expands saved-pitch slots and unlocks exam history and CSV export. All purchases are processed by Apple's StoreKit and governed by Apple's privacy policy. The developer never receives payment details such as card numbers — only the fact that the purchase has been made.
Lab Pro's CSV export writes your on-device records to a file only when you initiate it, and hands the file to the iOS share sheet for you to choose a destination. Nothing is automatically sent to the developer's server.
The app is rated 4+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The anonymous statistics in Section 2 are identifier-free totals and contain nothing that could identify any person, including children.
If this policy changes, this page will be updated and the date above revised.
