Statsline — Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 17, 2026

This policy explains how Statsline ("the app") handles information.

1. Information We Collect

The app does not collect or store any personally identifiable information. No account is required, and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs are included. The only data that ever leaves your device is the anonymous usage statistics described in Section 2.

The following data is stored only on your device:

2. Anonymous Usage Statistics

To help improve the app, it sends anonymous action counts to the developer's own server (collect.appline.app, hosted on Cloudflare). What's counted is limited to actions like these, and every count is an aggregate total only:

What is sent (and nothing more): a fixed, predetermined event name or screen name, plus the app's version number.

What is never sent: your name, email address, device identifiers (IDFA / IDFV), advertising ID, location, team names, player names, scores, voice recordings, or any other personally identifiable information. The on-device processing described in Section 3 remains unchanged — your voice and game data never leave your device.

No individual can be identified or tracked: the app never assigns your device or you a persistent identifier of any kind. What's sent is only "this action happened N times in total," with nothing to link events together — so identifying an individual, tracking the same person over time, or building a profile is structurally impossible.

Where it goes: only to a server the developer operates directly. It is never shared with Google, Firebase, Meta, or any other third party. Your IP address is never logged, stored, or linked to the anonymous counts.

3. On-Device Processing

Speech recognition for voice scoring runs entirely on your device (on-device recognition only). Your voice is never sent to Apple's or the developer's servers.

Automatic game recaps (AI articles) are generated by the on-device AI model on Apple Intelligence-capable devices. Game data and generated articles never leave your device.

4. Device Permissions

If you decline these permissions, you can still keep score with tap input.

5. Network Communication

The app's only network communication is sending the anonymous usage statistics described in Section 2. No game data, team names, player names, voice content, or generated articles are ever transmitted. Every other feature works entirely offline.

6. Data Storage and Deletion

Recorded game data is stored only on your device and is not automatically synced to iCloud or any other cloud service. Deleting the app deletes all stored data.

7. Children's Privacy

The app is rated 4+. The anonymous usage statistics in Section 2 are identifier-free aggregate counts and contain no information that identifies any individual, including children.
