Scoreline — Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Scoreline ("the app") handles information.

1. Information We Collect

The app does not collect any information. No account is required, no analytics or advertising SDKs are included, and no data is ever sent to the developer's or any third party's servers.

The following data is stored only on your device:

Roster information such as team names, player names, and jersey numbers
Game records (play events, scores, at-bat results)
In-app settings (display abbreviations, etc.)

2. On-Device Processing

Speech recognition for voice scoring runs entirely on your device (on-device recognition only). Your voice is never sent to Apple's or the developer's servers.

Automatic game recaps (AI articles) are generated by the on-device AI model on Apple Intelligence-capable devices. Game data and generated articles never leave your device.

3. Device Permissions

Microphone — used to record plays by voice.
Speech Recognition — used to convert your speech into score entries. Recognition happens on-device.

If you decline these permissions, you can still keep score with tap input.

4. Network Communication

The app does not communicate over the network. Every feature works offline.

5. Data Storage and Deletion

Recorded game data is stored only on your device and is not automatically synced to iCloud or any other cloud service. Deleting the app deletes all stored data.

6. Children's Privacy

The app is rated 4+. Since the app collects no personal information at all, it does not collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, this page will be updated with a new "Last updated" date.
